Privacy Policy
This policy describes how musicpod classic handles information. The product is free. Illusion Art does not operate a musicpod login, does not run advertising, and does not use analytics SDKs or tracking pixels in this website or in the iOS app.

Who we are
Illusion Art AI Private Limited (“Illusion Art”, “we”) publishes
musicpod classic: this website and the native iPhone app (bundle ID
ai.illusionart.classic). Our public site is
illusionart.ai.
This website does not collect personal data
The cinematic site is a static page. There is no account, newsletter
form, or comment box. The application code does not set cookies, does
not write to localStorage or sessionStorage,
and does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Plausible, or similar
trackers. Typefaces are system fonts (for example SF Pro / system UI),
not a third-party font CDN.
Animation frames, scripts (including bundled Lenis and GSAP), and images are requested from this same origin so the click-wheel film can play in your browser. Those requests are ordinary page loads. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard server logs such as IP address, user-agent, and URL for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to build advertising profiles.
The iOS app: no musicpod account, no tracking
The App Privacy manifest declares that musicpod does not track you and does not collect the data types Apple lists for App Store nutrition labels. There are no ads and no in-app purchases.
- On-device preferences. Theme, haptics, last menu path, and which library sources you enabled are stored in Apple UserDefaults on your iPhone (reason CA92.1). That data stays on the device unless you back up the phone yourself.
- Apple Music. Browsing your library and playing songs uses MusicKit and Apple’s services under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive a copy of your library on Illusion Art servers.
- Optional Spotify / YouTube Music matching. If a release includes those Settings toggles, sign-in happens in the system web-auth sheet with Spotify or Google. Tokens are kept in the device Keychain. musicpod reads saved tracks/playlists only to match titles against the Apple Music catalog on device. Unmatched songs are skipped. Those providers process sign-in under their own policies. Builds without client IDs hide those sources entirely.
- No Illusion Art backend for listening. Playback, artwork, and queue control stay with Apple’s player APIs and your device. Live Activities and widgets show now-playing state locally (including a small artwork thumbnail on the lock screen).
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not run cross-app or cross-site tracking.
- We do not require an Illusion Art username, email, or password to use musicpod.
Children
The website has no user-generated content and collects no accounts. The iOS app is a music player that uses the Apple Music (and optional third-party) accounts already on the device. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through musicpod itself.
Changes
If the product starts collecting data (for example analytics or accounts), we will update this policy before that ships. The date above will change.
